Automated Regression Environment for PDK validation
SoftJin offers services for all stages of PDK development including:
- Development of DRC and LVS clean Pcells based on the requirements of the foundry or EDA tool vendor
- Creation of the schematic, layout, RC extraction and spice views for each Pcell component
- Creation of CDFs and Call backs
- Development of test circuits using the developed PDK
- Automated regression system to validate the PDK
Our experience in Pcell development includes:
- Development of transistors, resistors, capacitors, diodes etc
- Development of Pcells and Pycells with parameters such as length, width, finger, multiplier and abutment
- Development of variants such as High/Low Vt, One/two sided transistors, and ESD
- Development using ROD (Relative Object Design) objects in SKILL language for better reusability

PDK Validation and QA Automation Services
As part of PDK Validation, SoftJin offers the following services:
- Validation of the configurable parameters of the Pcells in the PDK
- Development of test circuits using the PDK such as Basic gates, Rectifiers, I/O Cells, Filters and other Analog devices
- Physical Verification (using DRC, LVS) of Pcells and test circuits
- SPICE Simulation of RC extracted Netlist to verify device/Test circuit characteristics

Automated Regression Environment for PDK validation
SoftJin offers a customizable and configurable regression environment that can automate the process of validating the PDKs in response to changes in the components, tools or technology files. Features of this Regression Environment include:
- Automated selection of Test circuits or components, EDA Tools and flow to be used for PDK validation. Selection can be based on user configurable parameters such as test coverage percentage, test case generation time
- Automatically run Regression on a single machine or distributed computing environment
- Automated comparison of the structure/views of the PDK with the golden outputs
- GUI for Regression setup and execution
- Automated generation of meaningful comparison reports
